Basic principle and fields of application

The automatic carousel storage system is suitable for industrial applications as well as document and office archives. The systems can be ordered in several sizes and versions, including special sizes.

Efficiency and cost benefits

Just 1 m² of floor space provides up to 1.8 m³ of storage capacity. Software for optimal path calculation saves time, reduces administrative effort and thereby lowers labour costs. The clear, digital administration reduces losses, and the quiet operation ensures a pleasant working environment.

Access and permissions

Extensive access permission systems can be configured individually, complemented by a card ID system. Material entry is either manual or automatic, for example via barcode.

Software and user interface

Operation is via an HMI touchscreen with a multilingual interface. The control software can be customised to the field of application, optionally with a storage register on a separate computer. Storage and retrieval are logged, and the inventory is available in real time. Network access and ERP connection, for example to SAP, as well as balance monitoring round off the system.

Maintenance and service

Economical maintenance benefits from easily accessible spare parts and a service-friendly design. On request, an all-round service with training and a turnkey complete handover are available.

VCR STANDARD (vertical door)

The vertically moving door made of powder-coated sheet metal opens and closes to a preset height and is illuminated by LED when the door opens. A type 4 safety light curtain protects against manual intervention, and an emergency opening is possible via a handwheel. Recommended for simple and split trays, ideal for systems without dividers and for separating upper and lower levels of split trays.

VCR SECTIONED (horizontal door)

The horizontally moving slatted door with two leaves has separate drives for a differentiated opening logic. It enables a partially segmented opening according to compartment size and position, as well as section-by-section access permissions within a single tray, ideal for perforated trays with separation zones. Durable, anodised aluminium parts ensure a high-quality appearance, complemented by automatic LED lighting.
